A warm welcome awaits you in the main bar area with friendly helpful staff. Here you will find a great selection of beers and lagers, which include: Greene King's Abbott ale & IPA, Shepherd Neame's Bishops Finger, Master Brew, & Spitfire. Morland's Speckled Hen, Fosters, Guinness, Carlsberg, Stella Artois, Kronenbourg 1664, & Strongbow. Add to this an extensive selection of fine wines from around the world with top class Champagnes, plus all of the usual spirits and mixers, and even the largest of thirsts can be satisfied.

You may have noticed this unfamiliar device behind the bar at Botley Hill and a lot more bottles of wine on display. The device is the unique Le Verre de Vin wine preservation system which we have recently installed.‘Le Verre de Vin’ as we are sure you already know, is french for ‘a glass of wine’ and the system is designed to keep wine in peak condition in the bottle after it has been opened. This means that we can now offer a much larger range of table wines and now Champagne and sparkling wines by the glass, without the risk of the wine deteriorating in any way or losing any of it’s natural sparkle.

If you find yourself in the neighbourhood and are busting for a cuppa we can fix that as well with tea, coffee and luxury coffees available (sorry no cream teas).

If you want a light lunch or a full meal just turn up, find a table and order at the bar. We serve food from 12:00am to 9:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays and from 12:00am to 2:30pm starting again at 6:30pm to 9:30pm during the rest of the week. Although we warmly welcome families to every other area of the Botley, licensing laws do not allow children in the bar area.
