The Surrounding Countryside
Do you enjoy the countryside? The area surrounding us provides some of the best views over the breathtaking Surrey countryside (we are approximately 267 meters, 876 feet above sea level). There is a new cycle and pedestrian path that runs from Chelsham to the Botley; this in itself provides a great walk along side the farms and open fields. From several points along this path you can look down across the whole of London, and the Thames valley as far as Gillingham. If you are planning a day in the country you could not choose a better place than the area surrounding Botley Hill Farmhouse to explore some spectacular walks, gardens and other places of interest. This area of southern England is steeped in history and in fact the area is mentioned in the Doomsday Book. When you have finished soaking up all that culture what better way of rounding off the day than soaking up some fine ales or wines along with a delicious meal from our menu.
