Botley Bill's playground is a great place for the children to keep themselves amused while you spend a nice long time keeping yourself amused (the main reason you came). The area is restricted to children under 1.2m in height, and as with the rest of the pub all children must be supervised at all times. For the tiny tots amongst you there is another play area for children up to 5 years of age. We welcome nice children at Botley Hill so we’ve added something extra to amuse the smaller ones. The Botley Hill Flyer arrived here at Hilltop Halt in April, although it doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere since then, it has proved a popular plaything. It is at least one train that is always there waiting when you arrive at the station, and as it’s on the Meridian Line it ought to keep good time. We also have a new larger aviary full of chirpy characters and Botley Bill’s Playground is ever popular. All this is to be found close to the big back patio. We do ask parents to supervise their children while they’re at Botley Hill. At the Botley we warmly welcome families and because the little ones need feeding as well as us there is a proper children's menu.
