The North Downs way

The North Downs way passes along the southern boundary of Coldharbour beeches. This national long distance path, designated by the Countryside Commissioner, runs from Farnham in west surrey, through the Surrey hills and into Kent, to end at Dover, a total distance of 141 miles. The area known as Coldharbour beeches is privately owned, and leased to the county council for public open space. This area of 8.5 acres (3.5 hectares) lies between Botley hill, Clarke's lane and White lane, Titsey.
