Botley Hill Farmhouse
stands on the Prime Meridian and International Date Line, a fact that has been
authenticated by The Royal Greenwich Observatory. This imaginary line at longitude
zero runs between the North and South poles and passes through The Old Royal
Observatory at Greenwich, home of Greenwich Mean Time and is the basis for
the International Time Zone system.
